How can Teladoc help me?

Teladoc connects you with 24/7 access to care for many non-emergency illnesses, especially when you can’t get an appointment with your primary care doctor due to home displacement or medical offices being temporarily closed.

I’ve been affected, how do I request care through Teladoc?

During this time, those affected should call the hotline number (855)-225-5032 to request a doctor visit.

What can Teladoc doctors treat?

Teladoc doctors can diagnose and treat common conditions, including sinus problems, respiratory infection, allergies, cold and flu symptoms, and many other non-emergency illnesses. When medically necessary, we can also prescribe medication.

Can Teladoc handle my emergency situations?

Teladoc is designed to handle non-emergency medical problems. You should NOT use Teladoc if you are experiencing a medical emergency. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911.

Can I get a prescription?

Teladoc does not guarantee prescriptions. It is up to the doctor to recommend the best treatment. Teladoc doctors do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by the DEA, non-therapeutic and/or certain other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. Also, non-therapeutic drugs such as Viagra and Cialis are not prescribed by Teladoc doctors. View the current list of DEA-controlled substances.

What if I already have a Teladoc membership?

To receive free general medical care during this time, contact us through the hotline. You will be asked for registration information and a brief medical history before you’re able to request a visit, and your visit history will not be associated with your existing Teladoc membership. Please note that if you contact us through your normal channels or existing Teladoc membership, you will be charged the standard visit fee based on your eligibility, and eligible members who register through the hotline will need to re-register with their existing group account to use Teladoc in the future.
