Update to Healthcare Policy (June 2021): Google has announced a new certification program for health insurance advertisers to aid in curbing misinformation or fraud. This special certification will be required for ACA health insurers or third-party brokers who want to run Google Ads. B rokers will need to provide documentation showing they are permitted under state law to sell health insurance.      Beginning May 3rd, 2021, brokers can apply for certification. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) report that over 528,000 Americans signed up for health insurance from the start of the 2021 Marketplace Special Enrollment Period (SEP) for consumers in HealthCare.gov States through March 31st, including approximately 322,000 signups from March 1st to March 31st.
