RETENTION BONUS!
Retain 85 percent to 89.9 percent of your ACA block of business and receive $25 per contract
~OR~
Retain 90 percent or more of your ACA block of business and receive $50 per contract

• You must have a minimum starting block of 50 contracts on Nov. 1, 2023, to qualify.
• Retention will be measured subscriber to subscriber, not block size to block size. New sales will not substitute for retention.

Retention includes only subscribers with an active policy on Jan. 1, 2024. The final measurement period will occur in March 2024.

Terms and Conditions:
One-time payment (not per contract per month or PCPM). Incentive payment will occur by April 2024. Contract must remain enforced with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina for two months after the initial effectuation date. Agent of record must remain consistent for the subscriber for two months after the initial effectuation date. Incentive(s) for medical only. Dental is not included.

Retention does not include renewing subscribers from another agent or agency, including agents under the same agency.

Subscribers switching from BlueChoice HealthPlan of South Carolina to BlueCross are not eligible for an incentive. New sales incentive payments apply to new contracts only. At the time of sale, agent must be licensed, contracted, and appointed with BlueCross and meet all additional state and federal requirements to sell QHPs, including but not limited to Marketplace trainings and certifications. The Consolidated Appropriations Act established disclosure requirements related to agent and broker compensation. As a result, it is expected that agents eligible for this incentive disclose it to their consumers being assisted prior to finalizing plan selection.

*Commissioned products include Blue EssentialsSM, Blue VirtuConnectSM, Blue Congaree, Blue Cooper, Blue Pee Dee, Blue Reedy and BlueExtendSM. Increased commissions start on Jan. 1, 2024.
