Important Update from Agility: Prepare for CMS MLMS “Go Dark” on July 12th!

Agility Insurance Services wanted to share a crucial update with our valued insurance agents. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced a significant change: starting July 12, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. ET, the Marketplace Learning Management System (MLMS) will “Go Dark.” This is in preparation for the launch of the Marketplace Plan Year 2025 registration and training. During this period, the system will be temporarily unavailable, and it’s imperative that agents complete a few key tasks before the shutdown.

Essential “Go Dark” Checklist for Insurance Agents:

Retrieve Your 2024 Registration Completion Certificates:
Plan Year 2024 registration and training certificates will not be accessible once the MLMS goes offline. It’s crucial for agents to secure their certificates before the system closes.

1. Log In to the CMS Enterprise Portal:
   Access your account by logging in here.(https://portal.cms.gov).
   After logging in, agents will be directed to the Agent/Broker Registration Status page.
2. Print Your Certificates:
   Locate the Print Certificate(s) link and follow the prompts to download or print the certificates.
   Ensure a copy is saved for your records.
   
   

Update Your Marketplace Agent/Broker Profile:

Keeping your profile information current is essential to avoid any disruptions when the new plan year begins.

1. Log In to the CMS Enterprise Portal:
   Access the profile here.
2. Navigate to Your Profile:
   Click the My Apps icon on the blue toolbar at the top of the webpage.
   Select the Training link under the MLMS header to access the agent/broker profile.
3. Update Your Information:
   Review and update any outdated details in the MLMS Profile.
   Click the Save button to ensure changes are recorded.
