SCAN Health Plan Expands 2026 Medicare Advantage Footprint in California, Texas, and Washington

Agility has just learned that—pending CMS approval—SCAN Health Plan will expand its Medicare Advantage offerings to even more counties starting January 1, 2026.

Here’s where SCAN will be available for the first time:

• Washington: Pierce, Spokane, and Thurston counties

• California: Sacramento, Placer, Yolo, San Joaquin, Kings, and Tulare counties

• Texas: Fort Bend and Montgomery counties

With this expansion, SCAN will reach almost 9 million Medicare-eligible individuals across these new markets. The carrier will also continue serving its more than 310,000 members already enrolled across 33 counties in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, and Washington.
