New Mexico-based Presbyterian Healthcare Services will continue only its D-SNP Medicare Advantage plans in 2027. The end of its other Medicare Advantage plans will result in about 30,000 members in New Mexico needing new 2027 Medicare health insurance coverage options.
The end of Presbyterian Healthcare Services’ MA plans, except for its D-SNP, in 2027 continues a trend of mid-sized health system-owned health plans reducing or ending their insurance operations in 2026.
