What’s New
AdvantageGuard (senior HIP) is expanding its ‘Guarantee Issue’ age limit to 79, a 5-year increase from the current limit of 74
- Note – Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia will require application filings, and changes in those states may occur after 8/21/26.
CriticalGuard (cancer, heart+stroke, CHAS, CI) is expanding its ‘Guarantee Issue’ age limit to 79, a 5-year increase from the current limit of 74
- Note – Maryland, Ohio, and Virginia will require application filings, and changes in those states may occur after 8/21/26.
- Additionally, a new $5,000 Guaranteed Issue option is now available for applicants ages 75-79 applying for CriticalGuard plans in most states.
TriTerm Medical (TTM) Updates

South Carolina (SC) – reintroducing TriTerm Medical (36 months, less one day)
- West Virginia (ID) – launching TriTerm Value plan
- Transitioning to the FACETS platform, with new business policy numbers will begin with 44
Starting today, UnitedHealthOne will collect TriTerm Medical premiums based on policy months. Therefore, it won’t collect partial premiums.
The FACETS system, which supports all ancillary products and Short Term policies today, uses calendar-month billing, including a partial premium for the first month. Effective 8/21/26, TriTerm Medical will follow this same structure and include a partial first-month premium.
UnitedHealthOne is targeting the elimination of partial premium billing for all FACETS policies by late October.

Key Benefits:
- With TriTerm Medical transitioning to FACETS, agents will now be able to bundle-bill TriTerm Medical with ancillary products.
- Members with both TriTerm Medical and ancillary plans will have a single member portal for all plans at http://www.uhcmemberhub.com. Currently, TriTerm Medical uses http://www.myuhone.com, while ancillary product users use http://www.uhcmemberhub.com.
- Simplifying the product portfolio to reduce the “paradox of choice” by now offering only three plans:
- TriTerm Copay Select Max
- TriTerm Plan 100 Max
- TriTerm Value
Critical Plan Notice
As of today, August 21, 2026, UnitedHealthOne will no longer issue any TriTerm Plan 80 Max (all states) and TriTerm Hospital and Surgical (all states) policies.
