With Open Enrollment less than 2 weeks away, Agility wants to remind you of the current prohibitions on using NPN overrides for your reference. Here is a list of the prohibitions:
- The North Carolina State Department of Insurance prohibits the use of NPN overrides for selling insurance in North Carolina.
- The State of Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCI) is prohibiting NPN overrides in Wisconsin.
- The following states also prohibit NPN overrides:
- Florida

- Iowa

- Michigan

- New Hampshire

- South Dakota
- Ambetter prohibits the use of NPN overrides in all states where it operates after October 15, 2025.
- Effective September 1, 2025, UnitedHealthcare prohibits the use of NPN overrides to sell UnitedHealthcare insurance products.
