Create and Register an Account

Add Your Medicare Contracts

Once registered on the platform, you’ll want to add your contracted carriers. HealthSherpa walks you through entering your Medicare contracts step-by-step on this web page, with screenshots showing you exactly what to do. A “Frequently Asked Questions” section on this web page answers questions agents may have about entering their Medicare contracts.

Add Other Plans and Carriers

With your current Medicare contracts entered on your account, many agents want to know what other plans and carriers the platform supports. HealthSherpa lists:

Ready to Sell (RTS) Setup, Especially for HCSC

You’re ready to sell when you confirm your writing number for a carrier! HealthSherpa needs to verify your RTS status with each carrier on its platform, and this is done automatically with the carriers through their RTS Integrations.
HCSC (BCBSIL, BCBSMT, BCBSNM, BCBSOK, BCBSTX) doesn’t have this capability, so the RTS process must be done manually. Fortunately, HealthSherpa walks agents through step-by-step how to manually verify their RTS status with HCSC using screenshots that involve the following steps:

  • Add HCSC brands to your Carrier Settings

 

  • Gather proof of RTS

 

  • Gather your Producer ID(s)
