We’ve learned that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is releasing the data CMS expects to see in the Plan Benefit Package (PBP). This data change will impact how the payors enter the information to create the 2026 Medicare Advantage plans and how they’ll be structured.
This might change the primary member communication 2026 model documents CMS releases later this year. These documents can include what the Model Annual Notice of Change (ANOC), Model Evidence of Coverage (EOC) and model Summary of Benefits (SB) documents might look like.
We won’t know for sure until CMS releases these model documents in a few weeks. We include an overview of the 2026 data changes for your reference.
