CareSource is announcing two major provider network changes impacting ACA members in Georgia and Ohio:
- OhioHealth systems are no longer in-network for the CareSource Ohio Marketplace.
- Southeast Georgia Hospital System will no longer be in-network for the CareSource Georgia Marketplace, effective February 1, 2026.
- Additionally, effective immediately, CareSource will no longer accept agent onboarding requests, or state appointment adds, for Marketplace agents in Kentucky, Michigan, and North Carolina, as CareSource is leaving those markets effective January 1, 2026.

CareSource is adjusting its 2026 Plan Year ACA Marketplace service area. The changes include the following:
- Notifying the departments of insurance in Kentucky, Michigan, and North Carolina of their desire to exit the 2026 Plan Year ACA Marketplace in these states.
- Reducing the plan offerings in Wisconsin and parts of Ohio.
- Expanding into new counties in Ohio and Georgia.
- Entering the Nevada Marketplace, which includes all 17 counties statewide.
- Introducing a lower-cost Bronze option in most markets.
CareSource members living in areas with no 2026 Plan Year coverage will continue to have active benefits through December 31, 2025.
As a result of these changes, CareSource is adjusting Marketplace commissions:
- In Indiana – $15 PMPM,
- In Ohio’s rating area 1 and rating area 11, the rate is $10 PMPM, while the rest of Ohio remains at $21 PMPM.
- Additionally, there will not be a 2026 OEP agent bonus.
